It's official, the first ever Makeup Utopia Challenge closed yesterday to make room for the new challenge - Glitter and Sparkles! Before we lay the Mermaid themed challenge to rest we wanted to share with you all the amazing submissions we received.

Tangledrose created a look that was a little harder edged, using cosmetics she created.

ThroughBeautyEyes went to the races in a look inspired by Mermaids. She posted a step-by-step tutorial on her blog.

Missmakeuplover1 captured the essence on the aquatic maidens with this delicate wash of colour.

Jonaye took the Mermaid theme to a beachy kind of place on both her face and her nails.
