It was a realisation that crept up on me slowly, probably around age 23, maybe 24, that not everybody had as many lipsticks as me. Not just that, but not everybody even wanted to have as many lipsticks as me. Turns out, some people would rather have clothes, or shoes, or holidays or - shock horror - savings!
