Welcome to the new Makeup Utopia Challenge! For this fortnight, the challenge theme is Old Hollywood and I'm so excited about it!
When this theme was randomly selected off my list, I was overwhelmed with possibilities! Should I recreate Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Greta Garbo, Ginger Rogers, Grace Kelly or maybe go way out of left field and go for James Dean? Well after much deliberation, I've chosen my looks, you can check out my first Face of the Day in the magazine, and I can't wait to see what you come up with!

So... I know the theme was old Hollywood, but because I'm a rebel, I have decided to go new Hollywood instead and recreate Kim Kardashians look from this years Golden Globes.
Probably not the smartest choice seeing I look nothing like Kim, but I hope you enjoy anyway :)
Maybe I'll do an old hollywood look too...hmmm...

Second attempt...
For my second attempt at Makeup Utopia's Old Hollywood Challenge, I followed another Lisa Eldridge tutorial as best as I could. In hindsight, I should have studied Audrey Hepburn's photos on top of watching the tutorial and checked that my photos resembled her makeup. I did not even get the brows right! Oh well, I hope it's ok enough to post. Cos I really want to win :)

My take on old Hollywood Glamour. I was chanelling Elizabeth Taylor brows, ridiculously long lashes and eyeliner, with of course, a red lip.
The lashes were fun and they tickle when I look up. Here's a close up.
